As a Founding Partner with Proton Enterprises, James focuses in health & fitness sector. His work centers around business management for trusted health leaders and building natural products brands aligned to their messages. Perhaps most notably is his work with Dr. Perlmutter, a neurologist with four New York Times bestselling books, a platform reaching 5MM people per month, and the #1 digestive health brand in health-food stores.
James and the Proton team have supported more than a dozen mission-driven natural product companies - with active projects in digestive health, senior nutrition, hydration, and mental well-being.
James has had a non-linear career path, with work including several years in Haiti and Mexico as a venture partner to developing market entrepreneurs, holding active series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses to support the growth of alternative asset managers, and stewarding an online business funding marketplace. James is a passionate supporter in the power of business as an agent for change.
James is a graduate of Yale University and stays engaged as a trustee of The 100-year old Aurelian Honor Society, a Director of Accelerate Yale, and speaking at a variety of events. In particular, James enjoys helping bright minds direct their talents outside of "traditional" career tracks towards more fulfilling endeavors.
James is a lifelong spearfisherman, snowboarder, and has been recently discovering a handstand practice.
